Directions To Kenosha Harbor

***Please note- The HWY 158 exit is closed on HWY 94-please follow these alternate directions

From Interstate 94

Take HWY 142 exit (next exit north of HWY 158) and go east to 7th Ave.

Turn right on 7th Ave and go to 44th St and turn Left.  Go until 44th St. ends and turn right.  Go 1 block and make a slight jog to the right (where the launch ramps are) and pull in the parking lot that runs along the boat docks.

Park at the very first gate you come to, marked Dock 3.  Proceed down the gangplank and turn left at the dock and go to slip 100, boat name, Wound Up.

Original Directions from Interstate 94

Take Hwy 158 east (which is about 5 miles north of the Illinois border)
all the way until it T intersections at 6th Ave. right in front of the harbor and take a Left Turn.

If you are staying overnight, the Best Western Harborside, is located about a half block up on the right.

To get to the boat, continue on 6th Ave. to the first stop light, 50th St, and Turn Right.

Cross over the bridge (you'll see the harbor beneath you on your left) and make your first Left Turn, into Simmons Island Park.  Follow the road downhill and around to your left until your first street,  and Turn Left.  Immediately Turn Left again into the parking lot and find a spot to park. 

The Wound Up, is on the first dock.  Come on out and turn left at the end of the gang plank.  The name, Wound Up, is clearly visible from shore and resides on dock 3, slip 100, Simmons Island Marina, Kenosha Harbor, Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Two day Wisconsin licenses are $14 per person and available right on the boat for your convenience.
