Soft soled shoes, weather appropriate clothing (it can be cool on the lake until June), a rain jacket (if the forecast indicates rain), your food and beverages (we encourage you to bring a cooler for your drinks and that will serve to take filets home in), sunglasses and sunscreen.

The Coast Guard limits us to 6 passengers maximum regardless of age and has nothing to do with the size of the boat (this doesn’t include crew). 

Yes. However the regulations regarding Charter Vessels are federal laws, so no drugs of any kind are permitted.

Yes, we’re happy to clean and bag the fish for you for the nominal charge of $1 per fish.

 

Yes, we have a no fish/no pay guarantee.  Quite honestly, it’s very, very rare. The fishing on our coast is spectacular.

We fish every day from May 1 to October 31, 2 charters per day, a morning and an afternoon.  Mornings generally start either 5 or 6 am, depending on the time of year, and afternoons are either noon or 1 pm.

Our charters are exclusive charters. Only the people from your group and the crew will be aboard.

Call, text or email us with your prospective dates and times, i.e. “Hey Capt. Chip, is Sunday June 15th open for an afternoon charter?”, and we’ll get right back to you and get things worked out.  It really couldn’t be easier.

Yes, but if you don’t have one, they are available onboard.  WI is $14 and IL is $6 per person.
